ONTABA - Call for Papers/Posters

ONTABA, the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis, is an affiliate Chapter of the Association for Behaviour Analysis International. ONTABA currently has over 200 members from professions such as education, nursing, health care and psychology. The objectives of ONTABA are to promote behaviour analysis in the province of Ontario, to facilitate interactions between professionals engaged in behavioural activities, to monitor and participate in legal and professional issues related to behaviour analysis and to initiate standardized practices and certification of Behaviour Analysts.

We invite submissions for presentations, workshops, symposia, panel discussions, and posters on topics related to the application of the principles of applied behaviour analysis in diverse settings. See other side of this announcement for more information about the conference program and themes. We ask that submissions be consistent with the objectives of our organization.

• Presentations will be approximately 30 minutes long and data-based and/or theory-based
• Workshops will be approximately 60 minutes long and will leave participants with new information, techniques, or tools that they can apply to their own practice.
• Each Symposium will be approximately 60 minutes long and will include at least 3 papers (approximately 15 minutes each). It is preferable to have a moderator or discussant. If you cannot find a moderator, or discussant, we would be pleased to assist in connecting you with an appropriate local expert.
• Panel Discussions must include at least 3 speakers, with a clear topic or question to spark discussion. Please include 3 sample questions you would expect to tackle in your abstract.
• Posters are a physical presentation of information, which can include empirical research, model testing, program overview or other similar dissemination of information.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed, and considered for acceptance based on thematic relevance to the conference program. The conference committee may accept a submission, and ask for it to be presented in a different format, e.g. presentation into a symposium with other like papers, or into a poster.
